About Swish Picks

Swish Picks was built by Coby Wiese and is a product of StatSight LLC. It started from one frustration: most NBA research tools show raw averages but skip the reason a player's number should be different tonight. Swish Picks automates that deep dive.

Every night, Swish Picks looks for what changed. A teammate is out, a role shifted, the pace is different, or the opponent defends a certain way. It shows how much each change moves a player's projection, how many games that rests on, and what would have to happen for the read to be wrong.

The site is organized into Tonight, player pages, Swish Finder, game pages, and Swish Lab, where you can build your own splits.

Where the data comes from: box scores and play-by-play from NBA.com and ESPN, plus injury and roster news. Betting lines and odds from sportsbooks such as FanDuel and DraftKings come through The Odds API, a third-party provider. Data is refreshed daily during the season.

What Swish Picks is not: it is not a sportsbook, it does not take wagers, and it is not affiliated with the NBA or any sportsbook. Projections and modeled chances are estimates from historical data. They are often wrong, and they are not betting advice. If you bet, bet responsibly and only where it is legal.
